Frames can be purchased at local craft or frame stores. By adding a matte you can enlarge the total feel of the piece. For example, I often matte a 5x7 inch artwork and place it in an 8x10 inch frame.

Does this come framed or matted?

No — prints arrive unframed and unmatted, ready for you to display however you like. Frames in standard sizes (5×7, 8×10, 11×14) are easy to find at craft stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or IKEA. Tip: matting a 5×7 print and placing it in an 8×10 frame is a great way to make it feel more finished without a custom frame.

What size should I get?

Not sure which size fits your space? A 5×7 is perfect for a small shelf, a gallery wall, or tucking into a greeting card-style frame. An 8×10 makes a nice standalone piece on a desk or small wall. An 11×14 is a statement piece — great above a couch, bed, or entryway.

Is this a photograph or hand-drawn?

This is a print of an original painting that was hand drawn— Alyssa draws each piece in pen and ink, then paints it with watercolor by hand. The prints are high-quality reproductions of that original artwork, printed on archival paper so the colors stay vibrant over time.

What does "made to order" mean?

Each print is printed and packaged only once it is ordered — nothing sits in a warehouse. Please allow 2–5 business days for your print to be prepared before it ships. You'll receive tracking info by email once it's on its way.

Will the colors look the same as on my screen?

Colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor's settings, but we work hard to ensure each print is a faithful reproduction of the original artwork. If you're not happy with your print for any reason, returns are accepted within 30 days.

Is there anything proving the authenticity of the print?

Each print includes a stamped verification label on the back confirming it's an authentic fine art print by Alyssa Whetstone Art.

Can I use this image for commercial purposes?

Let the Party Be Gin Watercolor Greeting Card

Private Corporate Watercolor Class

Alyssa visited our office and took our group of about 35 people through a watercolor painting class. She helped us pick images to paint ahead of time. The Minnesota watercolor workbook is exactly as presented. Introduction to watercolor painting for beginners, wonderful drawings that represent Minnesota's finest landmarks, QR codes for video assistance, and a fun questionnaire at the end.
