Learn

If you’ve ever thought, “I’m just not artistic,” you’re not alone—and you’re absolutely in the right place.

As a kid, I always wanted my friends to make art with me. I had a craft cupboard full of supplies and a heart full of encouragement. But as we grew older, I started noticing something:

People began deciding whether they were “an artist” or not.
And once they made that choice, they either kept creating—or stopped completely.

Over the years, I’ve heard so many stories from people who were told their art “wasn’t good enough” or that they didn’t have “talent.” Sometimes, it only took one comment to make them give up on creativity entirely.

As a former elementary art teacher—and a lifelong encourager—I’m here to help rewrite that story. I love what Bob Ross (an encourager who's shoes I could never fill but will forever strive toward) said...

“Talent is a pursued interest.”

Anyone can learn to make beautiful, expressive art with the right guidance: fun, clear instruction that’s both informative and achievable.
