How One Student Found Confidence with Watercolor—And Why You Can Too
Share
At a recent art fair, I was chatting with visitors when someone tapped me on the shoulder with a smile on her face. "Hi! I took your watercolor course—and I just had to come tell you in person how much I loved it."
Cue my happy dance. 🎉
Meet Stacey.
She shared that before taking my course, she felt unsure and a little intimidated by watercolor. “I’d tried painting before,” she said, “but it just never clicked. I always felt like I was doing it wrong.” But something changed when she signed up for the Watercolor Confidence Course.
“Your videos made it so easy to follow. I started painting more, I actually liked what I was making, and now—I’m excited to paint!”
Hearing that in person? Absolute highlight of my day. Honestly, it’s moments like that that remind me why I created this course in the first place. So many people want to paint with watercolor, but feel stuck. Maybe you’ve told yourself:
-
“I’m not artistic.”
-
“I don’t have time.”
-
“I never know where to start.”
That’s exactly what the Watercolor Confidence Course is built for.
What makes it different?
-
Quick, bite-sized tutorials you can finish in minutes
-
Simple, feel-good projects that build real technique
-
Zero pressure, all encouragement—because painting should be fun
Whether you’re brand new or picking up watercolor again after a long break, this course helps you build a habit, learn key skills, and actually enjoy the process.

And Stacey’s not the only one. The following weekend at another fair, a woman walked up and said, “I have a few of your watercolor workbooks, and you need to make 20 more. I love them!”
Cue second happy dance. 🙌
